What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
For years, mine was cookies and cream. Now it’s Moose Tracks, thanks to a friend’s introduction.
Everyone has their own favorites. Apparently, cookies and cream is the most popular in 14 states, followed by vanilla and a three-way tie between chocolate, strawberry, and peppermint, according to WorkWise.
People rarely get into heated arguments about which flavor is their favorite because taste is personal.
Like favorite ice cream flavors, how people feel about things is personal. Feeling joyous, frustrated, inspired, or defeated is personal.
When was the last time someone argued with you about how you should feel?
What would happen if instead, they acknowledged how you felt, told you they understood what led you to feel that way, then helped you regulate that emotion?
Thanks for caring!
