Are you a quick learner? Does it feel exciting to be able to learn skills quickly?
When I started my first business, I realized I knew less than nothing about product development, sales, marketing, and operations. Thanks to the internet, I rapidly acquired many skills.
The problem I had was “shiny new object syndrome.” Everytime a tough problem came up, I’d jump on Google and try to learn the latest greatest tool.
Seeing rapid progress while learning new things was much more fun than sitting still and trying to pick apart a tough problem.
But oftentimes, solving a tough problem is more valuable.
What would happen if you imagined you were a “slow learner” and couldn’t learn new skills quickly?
So you couldn’t afford to be distracted by shiny objects and had to figure out the tough problem?
Thanks for caring!
