Do dress sizes really matter?

1/28/2019

According to the Washing Post, a size 8 dress today is the same as a size 16 dress in 1958. Clothing companies use vanity sizes to cater to the masses to sell more clothes.

You may feel cheated. Your dress size is significantly higher than you thought.

But hopefully, you feel free. Your dress size is just some arbitrary number people made up, to get you to buy.

Only you, not some random corporate head at a clothing store, can define who you are and what size you are.

What other made-up rules shape your world?

Thanks for caring!

with gratitude,
