The incredible Ja Jiang took a 100-day challenge of trying to get rejected. First, he asked a stranger for $100. Then, he asked a restaurant for a “burger refill.”
Jiang had a life dream to teach at a university. So he asked a professor whether he could teach his class. Finally, after three tries, he got his opportunity!
We don’t have to go through 100 days of rejection to get comfortable with rejection. However, what opportunities would you leap at if you become comfortable being uncomfortable?
What if you practice putting yourself in uncomfortable situations when the stakes are low. Then, when the stakes are high, you could grab the opportunities, like leading a new project, changing companies, and taking more responsibilities.
Thanks for caring!
