Walking down the hill with tall grasses waving goodbye, I stopped under the shade to enjoy the cool breeze. Sweat was running down my cheek. My dogs were panting. It was hot.
While I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt, my friend was wearing pants, a long sleeve shirt, and a puffy jacket.
I felt hot. She felt cold. Who’s right?
We both are! It doesn’t matter what the temperature says. If you feel hot, you’re hot. If you feel cold, you’re cold. It’s what you do with the information that matters.
Feelings are the same way. If you feel frustrated, you’re frustrated. If you feel nervous, you’re nervous. We can’t control how we feel. But we can control what we do with that information.
Thanks for caring!
