It's Jordan Hall
Heading to an orchestra audition, I peeked inside the concert hall to hear what my competition sounded like. My heart started thumping faster and faster.
The first musician’s violin had an incredible golden sound that shimmered. The second musician’s violin growled with a dark chocolate edge. The third musician’s violin roared.
They all sounded like they had Stradivari violins. I didn’t.
Later, I realized that the concert hall they played in, Boston’s Jordan Hall, took these musician’s sounds and amplified and enhanced them. Sounds from their instruments came back richer and warmer than before.
Whether you’re in the concert hall or at the office, most of us need a little help to give our best.
What environment makes your work gleam like a concert hall?
Thanks for caring!
