It’s easy to support others with similar values and views. But, what happens if a friend or loved one has a different perspective? What if their opinions differ on crucial issues?
One path is to move away from this person and lose the relationship. This is healthy in many cases.
A more challenging path is to practice radical acceptance. The relationship means enough to you that you are willing to support the individual, especially because you don’t agree with them.
