T-shirts and systems
Picture your drawer full of t-shirts. If you are organized, there are two piles of shirts neatly folded. However, you can only see the top two.
The problem is, if you want to see what else you have, you’ll have to dig around.
If you’re starving for closet space, the solution is to change how you fold the t-shirts. Instead of folding them in half, fold them into thirds. Instead of laying them flat, arrange them vertically, so you can see them stacked at one glance.
This one change may not seem a big deal, but it makes a difference since you look through your clothes every day.
Don’t try hard. Use a better system.
How might you design a better system for work that you do every day, like meetings?
Thanks for caring!
