You made my week.
I saw an elderly woman in a wheelchair getting out of an elevator. Navigating an elevator was no small task for her.
I asked how she was doing. After a brief conversation, I told her she had a beautiful voice. It turns out she’s a classically trained singer and launched one of the most prestigious music programs for young people in the country.
After a lively talk, she turned to leave and mentioned, “you made my day...you made my week!”
We often track things like “likes” on social media, promotions at work, and money in the bank.
What would happen if we tracked how often others say, “you made my week?”
Thanks for caring!
